A big crowd of kids have a wonderful time cooling off and playing in the Ring Fountain, near Faneuil Hall in Boston, MA.
The fountain is part of the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy greenway, a string of small parks that took the place of the old elevated highway that ran through the city for most of my life.
The greenway is by far the prettiest part of the Big Dig -- I'm incredibly pleased that they didn't just turn the land into more surface roads or buildings.
