The I Have To Shoot What?! Challenge for Week 7: Love
First of all, this was taken on Valentine's Day, on my way home to dinner with my True Love. Secondly, I love to see the way clouds reflect the light and take different shapes. Lastly, it looks like an artistic heart (at least in my eyes)!

That is the sun lighting only portions of the rising fog... Doesn't the sun look a bit like a full moon or a spotlight?

Jackson at pool.
Via Flickr:
Jackson was not allowed at the pool area during the summer, but I would carry him and let him poke his nose through the grates of the fence. The sun bathers used to call out: "Hello, Jackson. Come on in!"

We finally started to get things cleaned up here in Connecticut after the blizzard, until it decided to rain. Now there's even a bigger mess of slush and flooded roads. At least the fog offers some beauty to it all. Some buried benches over looking a foggy lake.

41/365

41/365 Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge @ Sunset - What a difference a day makes. I went to Boston today to capture some of the aftermath of the winter storm. A lot of picturesque scenes could be seen as Bostonists were busy digging out. Although I captured some great scenes my heart was set at the Lo Presti Park in East Boston. I was the only one out...and no wonder. With the snow in the park not plowed it was at least a foot and half. I wasn't wearing boots and I had two wet feet to wait for the sun to set and the city lights to come on. Patience was the name of the game...my wife would have hated it. It was getting dark, chilly and windy! Oh well...the life of a photographer is one who knows how to wait to get the shot. A few other shots from the day after Nemo!
Boston Lights Up

Lights reflecting off the water in this shot after New England was buried in 24 inches of fresh snow! What a difference a day makes as the temperature was in the 40s and crystal clear skies!

As the Northeaster 'Nemo' was nearing it's end our view from the kitchen window was getting a bit strained due to the drifting snow.

The I Have To Shoot What?! Week 5 Challenge: Weather
This is the first time I've ever seen an activity like this. After it was 60*F earlier in the week, I was a bit surprised to see so many people out on this lake, especially when there were other areas of the lake that were unfrozen...
Many more "weather" shots in my photostream - too many to post in comments!
