The I Have To Shoot What?! Challenge for Week 8: Danger
In the middle of a snow squall, taking a jog in the middle of the street with cars coming at you is not exactly the safest way to get your exercise in... I assume they are training for the Boston Marathon or some other road race and have to train in all kinds of weather...

Took advantage of a break in the ice created by pumps circulating water around the dock. Pretty warm morning, I think it was just above freezing. Canon 16-35mm 2.8L II at 20mm.
Mothers poor little Outback has been snowed in for nearly two weeks now due to all the snow we have been getting, I keep shoveling but still have not got to her car, it's a good thing that she doesn't drive it much in the winter.
Deceiving, but the "pink sands" is actually fresh snow blowing across a snow-covered lake under the colors of the setting sun... It was amazing to watch and I hope I captured even a tenth of that amazement...

GOOD MORNING from The West Island Weather Station at South Point. Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 638AM. A fresh heavy blanket of snow greeted SouthCoast this morning under beautiful clear skies after a hefty Nor'easter sped off leaving 10" of snow on the island and up to a foot elsewhere. The predicted high wind gusts of 50-60 MPH never reached expectations at WIWS, but still peaked at 31 MPH at 102 AM. As many as 7,445 lost power mostly in the Plymouth and Barnstable areas. Evening by the Pond - I originally set out for Canobie Lake to get the sunset although the sun was behind the evening clouds..so I got a few pictures from there and as I headed home the sky burst into a vibrant pink so this shot here is of neighboring Cobbetts Pond in Windham, NH. Looking like mid-winter on the pond with no sign of water or ice for that matter and with a few inches of fresh snow on the way again this week, looks like a few more weeks of Winter weather for sure.

Lowell, MA - A great sky and a great sunset tonight in Lowell as I was set out to do some tail lights instead but this one was pretty good so I didn't bother with the car lights. Maybe tomorrow!
