Merrimac Sunset
First Light
Via Flickr:
Headed out to South Hero early on Wednesday morning. Mostly clear skies and temperatures near freezing made for a crisp view of Mount Mansfield across Lake Champlain.
Thank you for looking. As always, your comments, critiques, and suggestions are much appreciated.
Note: This is a manual blend for sky and landscape and depth of field. The first exposures of the morning were of the starry sky, then as light permitted over the next thirty minutes, the field and flowers were exposed.

Now that the sun has finally come out after nearly two weeks of gray overcast and rainy weather, we are actually seeing some color in the foliage.
This is the view northwest from Hessian Hill towards the Western Maine Mountains and Mount Washington in New Hampshire today.
