The 439 foot - Liberian flagged cargo ship 'MARINE PHOENIX" headed into New Bedford harbor passing by Angelica Island this morning at 6:15 AM - Monday, Nov 4, 2013 after a long voyage from Istanbul, Turkey to unload 2500 palettes of Clementines. The 8,000 ton 'SEATRADE" cargo reefer has been one of many recent large ships entering our port this fall. (FYI - The temperature at this location was 33.1 with a wind chill of 22 degrees.)
