Good Morning from West Island. Friday, Oct 4 at 645 AM. A beautiful sunrise embraces the back side of the island this calm and mild fall morning. The temperature was 57.7 degrees with 93% humidity. The water temp was 65 degrees. In less than 2 minutes at this location down the end of Cottonwood St, , the dinner bell rang out and the hungry mosquitoes came out en masse for their "big breakfast". I scurried to the car just in time! LOL A lot of clouds coming in over the weekend but mild temperatures in the low 70's will still make for a nice weekend. It looks like the remnants of "Karen" may bring us some significant showers Monday and Tuesday. www.westislandweather.com/
