Some vessels are already being hoisted out for winter storage this sunny Wednesday afternoon at Earl's Marina at Long Island-Fairhaven, MA. Today marks the threshold of exact sunset and sunrise at 12 hours apart. Now we continue with the loss of daylight right through to the Winter Solstice on December 21st. (Silas my Husky is in the lower left - he just likes to get into the pictures I take - I won't crop him out on this one)
