Sunrise over the Lupin Fields in Franconia Notch NH
The annual Lupin Festival begins this weekend in Franconia Notch NH. With rain forecasted for the weekend I decided to get a jump start and head up during the week. Out the door at 2am for the 2hr drive up north. I got there in plenty of time to find a location but the fog was so thick I couldn't see more than 20 feet in any direction. I found a spot in the field across from The Sampler and luckily the fog cleared just as the sun started to rise.
