I was kayaking today when I came upon a loon family. We hung out for a while!
This shot shows a baby riding on the back on an adult. The partner was coming back after a spin around the territory, and they were calling to each other when this one reared back to stretch! The baby got pretty violently bucked, but I was happy that this frame came out sharp!
